Courts, Common Pleas, and County Files

Indiana State Library microfilm and the county Files Department document several distinct Whitley County court series. Circuit Court records are listed from 1839 to 1900 on microfilm. Common Pleas material appears for the mid-nineteenth century, while county archival holdings include civil, criminal, probate, guardianship, divorce, and other proceedings.
