WhitleyNet's first mission was to provide dial-up services for Whitley County citizens. We started designing the system to use Ameritech, however last minute changes prevented that system from ever starting. A decision was made to use CTLnet of Fort Wayne to provide our dial-up services. In 1999, the board decided it was time to change and provide our members with better service.

Since 1999, the service has increased to include Nation Wide Service, DSL, SkyDSL (Satellite service), 24 hour Tech Support, Free Virus Filtering, Free Spam Filtering, Free Pop Up Blocker. We are really happy that we started this relationship with KC Online!

KCOnline came to our call, presented a plan and a opportunity that we could not resist. The switch was made and we brought KCOnline onboard as our Internet feed service provider.

KCOnline contributes greatly to the community, and non-profit organizations. We are proud to be working with them because this is our main reason for existence.

KCOnline treats WhitleyNet as an agent, and gives us recurring fee's for the members that are signed up under our account. We use these monies to help provide grants through our system.
